Robert “Bob” Byrd, P.E.

Principal

With over 40 years of experience in engineering and project management, Bob Byrd brings a wealth of knowledge to every project. His career began at an electric utility company before moving into manufacturing and, in 1985, dedicating his focus to the design and construction of HVAC and plumbing systems.

Prior to the formation of Madison Engineering Group, Bob was a managing partner at a Jackson-based architectural/engineering firm for 17 years and later founded Design Build and Engineering Services, LLC in 2016. He has a proven track record of providing exceptional service and technical expertise to corporate, industrial, higher education, and governmental clients.

As a certified Energy Management Professional, Bob also provides building owners with expert guidance on managing energy programs, optimizing usage, and implementing efficient projects to improve their bottom line.
